Your body is not merely a bag of skin, bones, organs, muscles and other strange parts such as brain and central nervous system. It is an extremely intelligent set of systems - the blood vessels (cardiovascular system), lymphatic system, reproductive system, respiratory system, endocrine (glandular system), urinary system, digestive system which comprises several parts within itself as in the liver, gall bladder, pancreas, spleen and stomach. All of this and so much more which we come to know as our 'being' in this world - a getting to know who we really are, both physically, as well as mentally, emotionally and spiritually. This body performs thousands of functions on our behalf, in most part unconsciously, such as breathing, removing toxins, digestion and elimination, sleeping, the beating of our pulse and heart, while thousands of thoughts, images and emotions are processed through delicate networks within the brain.
I encourage you to explore your health through self-study and by asking questions about the health concerns which matter most to you and your loved ones.
